Draft — not yet in force. Two values are still being settled: the operator's registered legal name and the governing law. They are shown as PENDING below rather than guessed. Until they are filled in, these documents describe how IPForge works and what it undertakes, but no effective date is claimed for them.

Acceptable Use Policy

One rule underneath all of the following: use IPForge only in a workspace you own or are authorized to operate, with a clear purpose and appropriate notice or consent.

The product measures delivery and interaction. It is capable of being pointed at a person instead of at a channel, and that is exactly the use this policy exists to forbid. This policy is part of the Terms of Service.

1. What a workspace is for

  • Measure your organization's own links, landing pages and tracking images.
  • Run transparent delivery or compatibility tests against inboxes, chats, recipients and destinations you own or are authorized to test.
  • Review activity, source classification and coarse device evidence inside the workspace that owns the resource.
  • Check whether a document or a page you published reached the audience you sent it to.

A controlled test is diagnostic: a preview, an image request or a browser event records what a delivery path did. It is not evidence that a named person read something, was in a particular place, or intended anything.

2. What is prohibited

Covertly identifying, locating or monitoring a person
Sending a link or an image to someone in order to learn where they are, what device they use or when they read something, without a purpose they would recognize and without notice or consent. This is the single most common misuse of a product of this kind and it is the clearest breach of this policy.
Stalking, harassment, doxxing or coercion
Any use directed at a person who has not agreed to be measured, including tracing an anonymous account back to a person, or collecting evidence for harassment, intimate-partner surveillance, or exposure of someone's identity or location.
Disguising measurement as something else
Presenting a tracked link or image as content it is not, impersonating a person, brand or institution, or using IPForge as part of phishing, a scam, or any attempt to obtain credentials, payments or personal information under false pretences.
Collecting what IPForge deliberately does not collect
Attempting to capture keystrokes, form values, credentials, page contents, precise pointer paths or the contents of any local service — whether by modifying a landing page, by embedding IPForge in another script, or by any other means.
Targeting people you have no relationship with
Bulk-sending tracked links to recipients who never asked to hear from you, or measuring traffic on a resource you do not control.
Exposing capture records
Publishing, selling or feeding another person's capture records, IP addresses, fingerprints, tokens or link data to a third party, a public endpoint or an automated agent that is not operating your own workspace on your behalf.
Unlawful content and anything the law forbids
Malware, illegal goods or services, content that sexualizes minors, incitement to violence, infringement of someone else's rights, or any other use that breaks the law where you or your audience are.
Attacking the service
Circumventing credit limits, rate limits, authentication or moderation; probing other workspaces; or degrading the service for others.

3. Notice and consent are your job

Where you operate, telling people what you collect may be a legal requirement rather than a courtesy. The Privacy Policy lists every signal a tracked resource asks for, precisely so that you can disclose it accurately in your own notice. Groups you do not need can be switched off per link, and switching one off is the strongest form of disclosure there is.

4. Enforcement

A link or image that we have reason to believe breaks this policy can be blocked immediately and without prior notice — while it is live, the harm continues. Repeated or serious breaches close the account, and credits are not refunded when an account is closed for breaking this policy.

A block is reversible. Reply to admin@ipforge.xyz and a person will look at it; a block made in error is lifted.

5. Reporting misuse

To report a ipforge.xyz link or image, write to admin@ipforge.xyz with the full URL and, if you can, what you received and when. You do not need an account to report something. We do not tell the workspace owner who reported them.

If you believe you are being monitored by someone using this service and you are in danger, contact your local authorities first — we can block a link, but we cannot help with the situation around it.
